Fertilizers
Our organic fertilizer range will cover all your plant feeding requirements. Over 95% of our fertilizers are organic or natural. Our composts and potting soils are developed to suit most plant requirements.
Potting Soil – A mix of compost and sand provides a good medium for most plants
Rose and Shrub Soil – A heavier soil mix to suit roses and those shrubs that prefer a certain amount of clay in the medium
Lawn Dressing – Sand and sifted compost to level off dips in the lawn and to feed
Mushroom Compost – Composted straw and chicken manure
Compost – Decomposed plant matter that improves the structure and content of garden soil
Mulch – A coarse, semi-composted medium for spreading over garden beds to reduce water loss, cool the soil and ultimately feed the plants
Bark Chips – Coarse pine bark pieces for mulching and decorating
Seedling Mixture – Finely milled bark pieces for growing seedlings in and rooting cuttings
Orchid Mix – Coarse bark combined with peat, vermiculite etc for orchids
River Sand – For rooting cuttings
African Violet Soil – Bark, vermiculite and polystyrene combined to provide a light, well drained mix for African Violets
Protea Soil – A potting mix created for all plants that require acid soil
Peat - Partially decomposed plant matter that can be slightly acidic
Rock Dust - Crushed volcanic rock particularly high in minerals and trace elements
Bone Meal – A slow release organic fertilizer high in phosphate applied when planting
Hoof and Horn - A slow release organic fertilizer high in nitrogen for leafy shrubs and vegetables
